Who Are We?
We are a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare professionals who care for patients living with obesity in Mountain West states.
Our goal is to promote effective and compassionate obesity medicine and bariatric care by:
Educating health care professionals in obesity management
Sharing best clinical practices and facilitating networking opportunities among bariatric and obesity medicine practitioners
Supporting and celebrating model obesity care practice centers, systems and providers
Advocating for obesity care before the state government leaders, healthcare insurance companies, employers and other interested parties to obtain support of evidence-based obesity treatment for patients living with obesity”.
